Things You Can Do To Protect Your Home
- Declutter your gutters. Embers can hide in leaves, branches and debris.
- Install 1/8 inch noncombustible, corrosion-resistant metal mesh over
windows, vents, weepholes, roofs, bird stops, eaves/awnings, and
gutter guards and across decks, patios and subfloor spaces to keep
embers out. - Build with fire-resistant materials and use nonflammable landscape
