WELCOME TO CAMN

Our Mission: To develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities.

Who We Are: The Capital Area Chapter (CAMN) was one of the first 4 chapters in the Texas Master Naturalist (TXMN) program.  Begun in 1996, the TXMN program has grown to include nearly 50 chapters across the state of Texas and inspired the formation of Master Naturalist programs in all 50 states!  The TXMN program is made possible by a partnership between Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas Agrilife Extension funded primarily by a matching grant from the US Fish and Wildlife Department.
