CAMN will be offering a 2021 training class. Training is being planned as a hybrid virtual/in-person experience contingent upon the restrictions imposed by COVID19. Classes will not begin until late January/early February.

A Naturalist is anyone who values and wants to learn about the nature around them. Whether you love watching birds, photographing spiders or growing native flowers, you are a naturalist.
The Texas Master Naturalist (TMN) program is an organization of naturalists across Texas who share their love and knowledge of nature with others. Within the Texas Master Naturalists program, members meet other naturalists, learn about the diversity of nature in Texas, and visit and help our state and local parks. This program is made possible through a partnership between Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas Agrilife Extension.
The Capitol Area Master Naturalist (CAMN) Chapter is a chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program and covers Travis County, from the Blackland Prairies in Cedar Park and Del Valle, to the karst geology of the Edwards Plateau in Westlake and Lake Travis. Read about our mission here.
