Learn how to identify frog and toad species in Texas and participate in scientific research. This Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) workshop is sponsored by the Capital Area Master Naturalists (camn.org). This workshop is approved advanced training for Texas Master Naturalists, and State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) and Texas Environmental Education Advisory Committee (TEEAC) credit is available for educators.

The workshop is free, and a CD of Texas frog and toad calls will be available for purchase for $5. More information on Texas frogs and toads and this TPWD Texas Nature Trackers program can be found here. Participants may wish to practice their newfound skills at the Commons Ford Bioblitz on the following weekend.

Registration is required. To register for the workshop or for questions, please contact Kathy McCormack at 512-698-9880 or VEFL21 at yahoo dot com.
