Please remember for an advanced training opportunity to be approved that you are interested in, you must provide information and documentation about the event, and submit it to Bill Dodd for approval. This includes who, where, when, how much, and what will be covered and for how long. “Hands on” and “learn use of tools, equipment, techniques” are good indications of events that fulfill the requirements.
2011 Plant Symposium
On Saturday, February 19, at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center the 10th Native Plant Spring Symposium will focus on the native grasses of Texas, what species are great for the home landscape, an overview of native grasses that provide habitat, food, and shelter for wildlife, and invasive grasses. The morning plenary session will be followed by two afternoon hands-on workshops. For more details and registration forms, click here.
