About Us

Members of the Capital Area Master Naturalists (“CAMN”) are dedicated to the conservation, preservation, and restoration of our natural resources. Our overriding goal is to help educate the public about the natural world in and around our community. To that end, we train, encourage and support Texas Master Naturalist volunteers in Austin, Texas and the surrounding counties to provide community programs and projects that increase appreciation of our natural environment and promote, protect, and preserve native flora, fauna, and the ecosystems that support them. Read about our mission here.

CAMN is a chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program. TMN is made possible through a partnership between Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas Agrilife Extension.

Central Texas volunteers devoted to ecological stewardship, education and outreach.
