education-and-outreach » Welcome to CAMN

Of Note…

The CAMN Board of Directors recently finished adopting its 2017 budget. Without some help, it will require us to draw down our savings by over $1,000 to fulfill our mission of environmental stewardship, education and outreach in Central Texas this year. You can help us chip away at that figure by shopping at Amazon Smile, where a small percentage of your purchase is donated to us.

About Us

Members of the Capital Area Master Naturalists (“CAMN”) are dedicated to the conservation, preservation, and restoration of our natural resources. Our overriding goal is to help educate the public about the natural world in and around our community. To that end, we train, encourage and support Texas Master Naturalist volunteers in Austin, Texas and the surrounding counties to provide community programs and projects that increase appreciation of our natural environment and promote, protect, and preserve native flora, fauna, and the ecosystems that support them. Read about our mission here.

CAMN is a chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist program. TMN is made possible through a partnership between Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas Agrilife Extension.
